Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Oversee procurement strategies and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective material acquisition.
• Develop and implement production plans and material requirements planning (MRP) to support manufacturing schedules.
• Lead and mentor the materials team, including buyers, planners, and warehouse personnel.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems and procedures within ERP/MRP systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material flow, logistics, and inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering to align material strategies with business objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, inventory management, and logistics within a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for materials planning and inventory control.
• Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain optimization
• Experience with global supply chain management and international logistics
