QA Services Technical Writer II

To act as author for Procedural documents in SharePoint and OpenText. To complete revisions resulting from Periodic Review that are minor or removals. To complete projects related to updating documents to meet best documentation practices.

This is a first shift Hybrid role working three days in the office, and two remotely.

Scope of the Role

• Update Forms for OpenText to use OT margins.
• Complete minors and removals related to Periodic Review for all areas without an embedded Tech Writer.
• Help with Enrichment of procedures when moving to OT for final change controls.
• Partner with cross-functional areas to create/update procedures outside of the quality scope.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Critical Thinking
• Ability to read procedures and follow the formats and processes required.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary, including well developed verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Also requires, attention to detail and the ability to follow through on projects involving multiple departments.
• Must have excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize and process multiple tasks.
• Computer literacy required.
• Must have good understanding of quality Document Management systems.
• Must have ability to support both Allegan and Holland systems, and/or others as required.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• 2-4 years Perrigo Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience preferred.
• Experience in technical writing or OpenText (of some kind, not necessarily Perrigo) required.
