💼 Role Overview

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting Detroit residents through both phone-based and in‑person interactions.

You will:

• Handle 50–100 inbound calls per day from customers seeking information on available properties
• Assist walk‑in visitors face to face with applications, property details, and program information
• Provide guidance on navigating the website and online property portal
• Transfer calls to internal departments as needed (very minimal outbound calling)
• Support faith‑based organizations and nonprofits seeking to join community partnership programs
• Learn and communicate program details clearly and professionally

• 1+ year of experience in a Call Center OR face‑to‑face customer service role
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
