Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Wyoming that are seeking Automation Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and implement PLC/HMI control systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and integrate robotic solutions for assembly, material handling, and quality inspection.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues with automated machinery and control systems.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize machine performance and uptime.
• Lead or support the commissioning and startup of new automated production lines.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including schematics, logic diagrams, and operating procedures.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality through automation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley) and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA system design, development, and integration.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate and program industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of sensor, actuator, and motion control technologies for manufacturing applications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Proficiency with industrial robot programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Universal Robots).
• Familiarity with MES/MOM systems and data integration from shop floor to enterprise level.
• Knowledge of industrial network architectures and OT cybersecurity principles.
