ETL Developer

This role will function as an ETL Developer supporting enterprise data management initiatives and broader information services environments within a large, complex organization.

The position is responsible for developing and supporting data integration solutions, as well as evaluating and recommending technologies related to data management architecture and platforms. This individual will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to transform data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.

A strong understanding of business processes is required to effectively identify and address critical data challenges. The ETL Developer will ensure data is accurate, consistent, and reliable, while making it accessible for reporting, analytics, and system integration.

This role also includes guiding stakeholders in leveraging data for analytical purposes, presenting information in meaningful formats to support analysis and strategic planning. The individual will work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and contribute to data strategy initiatives.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing data solutions such as data pipelines, data lakes, data marts, and data warehouses, along with developing dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with modern enterprise data platforms (e.g., IBM Cloud Pak for Data or similar)
  
• 5+ years of experience with data cataloging and governance tools (e.g., IBM Knowledge Catalog or equivalent), including supporting migration of legacy ETL workloads
  
• 5+ years of experience with data lineage and metadata management tools (e.g., IBM Manta or similar)
  
• Experience establishing and enforcing data architecture standards and best practices
  
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
  
• Experience working within large, complex, multi-source data environments
  
• Solid understanding of data quality, data consistency, and data lifecycle management
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in large public sector or enterprise environments
