Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or grinders according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, adjusting machine offsets and parameters as needed.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished components from machines.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) for quality inspection.
• Strong understanding of shop mathematics, GD&T, and material properties.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot common issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with advanced CAD/CAM software for fixture design or complex part programming.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance or light troubleshooting on CNC machinery.
• Knowledge of advanced metrology tools (e.g., CMM operation) and GD&T principles.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machining or turn-mill operations.
