Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO, IATF).
• Analyze quality data, metrics, and trends to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new product introductions and process changes to ensure quality by design.
• Manage and maintain the calibration system for inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
• Support supplier quality management activities, including qualification and ongoing performance monitoring.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in core quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D).
• Strong understanding and practical application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Demonstrated ability in statistical data analysis and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) in a manufacturing environment
• Certified Internal or Lead Auditor for relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485)
