Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to prepare financial records, manage budgets, ensure compliance with regulations, and support overall financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
• Maintain general ledger and journal entries
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Support internal and external audits
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and controls
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting systems and processes
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA certification (or working toward it)
• Experience with financial reporting and audit support
