You’ll be employed directly by PRS Auto , not the railroad.

What You’ll Do:

As a Gate Inspector, you’ll help keep the rail terminal running safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities include:

• Inspecting automobiles arriving and departing the facility.
• Verifying load sheets and unit numbers.
• Documenting any damage with accuracy and professionalism.
• Checking truck drivers in and out of the terminal.
• Maintaining a visitor log.
• Keeping your inspection area clean and safe.
• Wearing all required PPE (vest, safety boots, hard hat when needed).
• Notifying supervisors of any incidents.
• Staying alert and aware around moving vehicles and railyard operations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass a 7‑year background check and drug test.
• No diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Able to safely work around moving equipment.

You’ll work outside in all conditions — rain, snow, heat, cold, wind, dust, and noise. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys active, hands-on work and doesn’t want to sit behind a desk.

Lo Que Harás:

Como Inspector de Puerta, ayudarás a mantener la terminal funcionando de manera segura y eficiente. Entre tus responsabilidades:

• Inspeccionar automóviles que llegan y salen de la terminal.
• Verificar hojas de carga y números de unidad.
• Documentar cualquier daño con precisión.
• Registrar la entrada y salida de los conductores.
• Mantener un registro de visitantes.
• Mantener el área de inspección limpia y organizada.
• Usar el PPE requerido (chaleco, botas de seguridad, casco cuando sea necesario).
• Reportar incidentes al supervisor.
• Mantenerte alerta cerca de vehículos en movimiento.

Requisitos:

• Licencia de conducir válida.

• Ser detallista, responsable y puntual.
