About the Role:

Join Rapid Die Cut as a Production and Maintenance Supervisor, where you'll lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We're looking for an enthusiastic leader who is passionate about optimizing production processes and ensuring equipment reliability. The person that best fits this role will be able to supervise staff and equipment as well as be willing to jump in and support production and repair/perform pm's on equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate and perform maintenance schedules and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain for timely materials availability.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare and maintain production reports for management review.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall operational goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and maintenance practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
• Technical background in mechanical or electrical systems preferred.
• To be mechanically inclined and able to learn to repair equipment such as flash cutters, water jets, belt fed presses, laminators, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
