Lead Custodian
Seeking experienced Lead Custodian for an automotive manufacturing, customer center and office building facility in Auburn Hills, MI. This position will be labor intensive and requires miles of walking per day. Interviewing asap.
Candidates should be professional as this position will interact with high-level positions on daily basis.- 4p-12:30a, Cleaning Supervisor
- $24.00/hour
- Floor care experience required
- Lead/Supervisor experiece highly preferred
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
- Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
- Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
- Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
- Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
- Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
- Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
- Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
- Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Removing and Bailing Cardboard
- Moving and stacking Pallets
- Floor cleaning
- Fork truck operation
- Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Must have reliable transportation
