Salary Range: $68,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficient management of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Supervise and train tool room personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures within the tool room environment.
• Manage inventory of tooling, including tracking, stocking, and reordering to prevent shortages.
• Coordinate the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tooling to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with engineering and production departments to understand tooling needs and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of tool usage, repair history, and inventory levels.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to tool room efficiency and cost reduction.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in tool room operations and management.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tool fabrication, and maintenance.
• Excellent leadership and team supervision skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and control of tooling assets.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• - Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems
