Position Summary:

Encompass Therapy Center is hiring experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to provide one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a center or home-based setting. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Behavior Intervention Plans to decrease problem behaviors, and skill acquisition goals to increase socially appropriate behaviors which are designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are currently hiring a full-time (30-40 hours/week) or part-time (20-30 hours/week) Behavior Technician to provide services in West Branch, MI.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide quality one-to-one ABA to children with ASD focusing on communication, social, play, and adaptive skills
• Record objective daily data to reflect client progress toward goals
• Maintain objective daily session notes
• Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Be able to lift 30-40 lbs., run, and keep up with clients depending on their needs
• Create a fun, interactive and engaging environment for clients

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelors Degree in a related field (Psychology, Social Work, Sociology)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential strongly preferred, if none, training will be provided and required within 6 months of hire
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, In-Person

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour (in addition to bonus pay mentioned above)
