Position: Front Desk Receptionist (Contingent / Part-Time)
Location: Saint Clair Shores, MI
We are excited to announce the opening of our new outpatient surgery center in Saint Clair Shores! We’re currently open one day per week, with plans to expand to 2–3 days per week in the near future. We’re looking for a friendly, kind, and adaptable Front Desk Receptionist who wants to grow with us as our schedule increases.
Our surgery days are scheduled 3–4 weeks in advance, giving you plenty of notice for which days you’ll be working. We’re seeking someone who is open to being available up to 1–3 days per week on the days we’re open.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):- Greet patients and their families with warmth and professionalism
- Scan insurance cards and photo IDs into the system
- Have patients complete and sign consent forms
- Prepare patient charts for the day and upcoming procedures
- Make patient confirmation calls and review procedure instructions
- Perform data entry and other clerical tasks as assigned by the manager
- Assist with light housekeeping:
- Turning over pre-op and post-op bays
- Starting laundry for linens throughout the day
- Tidying the lobby and coffee station
- Typically 6:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM, depending on the surgery day

Requirements:High School degree or above (required)
At least 1 year of experience in the medical office setting (preferred)
