Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize CMM inspection programs from CAD models and blueprints.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and quality requirements.
• Operate CMM machinery to execute inspection programs and collect precise measurement data.
• Analyze measurement results, identify non-conformances, and generate comprehensive inspection reports.
• Perform first-article inspections (FAI) and in-process quality checks using CMM programs.
• Troubleshoot and debug CMM programs and measurement processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and manage a library of CMM programs and associated documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience programming CMMs in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CMM programming software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MCOSMOS.
• Expert-level understanding and application of GD&T principles and blueprint reading.
• Ability to interpret and work with 2D and 3D CAD models for inspection program development.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, validating, and optimizing CMM inspection programs.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced GD&T application and interpretation skills
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis
• Proficiency in CAD software for design review and fixture conceptualization
• Experience with multi-sensor metrology systems (e.g., vision, laser scanning)
