Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Otsego that are seeking skilled Industrial Electricians. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, equipment, and components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using schematics, multimeters, and other testing devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and electrical systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications for electrical installations.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies.
• Calibrate and adjust electrical equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls.
• Document all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Formal apprenticeship or vocational training in industrial electricity.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and industrial control systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including Lockout/Tagout and NFPA 70E.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
• Experience with industrial robotics maintenance and programming
• Certification or specialized training in Arc Flash safety and NFPA 70E standards
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like SAP PM or Maximo
