We're looking to expand our services by adding a talented Ophthalmologist. While we welcome applications from general ophthalmologists , we have a particular interest in candidates with fellowship training or a strong interest in Cornea or Oculo-plastics .

You'll be busy from day one, thanks to our extensive referral network of optometrists, primary care physicians, and urgent care centers across the region. A retiring cornea and oculo-plastic provider in our group would provide and instantaneously full clinic.

We're seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist who is:

GTOC boasts a proud history, serving the Traverse City community for almost 90 years . We are not owned by private equity , allowing us to maintain our focus on patient well-being, physician lifestyle and clinical excellence. Our shared call schedule is approximately 1:10 , ensuring a manageable work-life balance. We have 6 ophthalmologists and 7 optometrists. We have locations in Traverse City and Petoskey Michigan.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a very competitive base salary of $300,000 with a comprehensive bonus structure that recognizes and rewards your contributions.

Our practice strongly encourages long-term partnerships. After just 1-2 years of dedicated service, doctors have the exciting opportunity for partnership , with no blue sky buy-in required. You'll have the option to buy into the real estate, clinical operations, and a surgery center, fostering a true sense of ownership and shared prosperity. Our multispecialty surgery center is the largest in the state.
