Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct daily fabrication operations and workflows.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet specified quality standards and tolerances.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of fabrication technicians and operators.
• Manage production schedules, material flow, and resource allocation for fabrication projects.
• Implement and enforce all safety protocols and best practices within the fabrication department.
• Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and production planning to optimize fabrication processes for efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in metal fabrication, including welding (MIG, TIG), machining, and assembly.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of fabrication safety protocols, quality control standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to train, mentor, and effectively manage a team of skilled fabricators.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for programming and design.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management.
• Advanced welding certifications (e.g., CWI) or specialized fabrication process expertise (e.g., laser cutting, waterjet).
