Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise finishing department personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and specifications through regular inspection.
• Manage daily production schedules to achieve output targets and on-time delivery.
• Implement and enforce all safety protocols and procedures within the finishing area.
• Monitor and troubleshoot finishing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for finishing processes and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records, quality control logs, and material usage documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finishing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong technical expertise in various finishing processes such as painting, coating, assembly, or polishing.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain high quality control standards for finished products.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, including staff training and performance evaluation.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, optimize workflows, and drive continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety regulations and best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Certifications or advanced training in specific finishing processes (e.g., powder coating, electroplating, painting).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.
