We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor with strong expertise in inventory control and experience managing ERP systems, specifically PLEX ERP, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting production flow, and overseeing shipping and receiving activities to ensure efficient material movement.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor inventory accuracy within the PLEX system
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Ensure accurate entry of material transactions including receipts, transfers, and adjustments in PLEX
- Support production and purchasing teams with real-time inventory data
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely deliveries and shipments
- Assist with process improvements related to inventory control, material flow, and shipping/receiving activities
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience using PLEX ERP
- 2+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of inventory transactions and material movement
- Experience with cycle counting and discrepancy resolution
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with production, purchasing, and shipping teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years in inventory control
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with PLEX ERP and inventory management systems
- Expertise in cycle counting and material handling
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
