Job DescriptionWe're looking for an experienced and dynamic Program Manager, Multicultural Marketing to lead our nationwide team, specifically focusing on the Hispanic consumer segment. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee a team of Hispanic Marketing Strategists, ensuring the seamless execution of their strategic plans, optimizing workflows, and managing resources to significantly increase Hispanic consideration and grow market share within our dealers' Primary Market Areas (PMAs).
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Hispanic market, a proven track record in operations management, and exceptional leadership skills to inspire a high-performing team. We're seeking someone with a strong background in marketing operations, project management, and a keen understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within multicultural marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Hispanic Marketing Enablement: Provide strategic direction and support to Hispanic Marketing Strategists, guiding them in developing and implementing localized marketing efforts and preparing Ford dealerships to effectively engage the Hispanic market.
- Team Leadership & Development: Directly lead, mentor, and manage a geographically dispersed team of Hispanic Marketing Strategists. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture by providing guidance on best operational practices, resource allocation, project prioritization, and data-driven accountability. Empower strategists to effectively engage Ford dealers and tailor strategies to local Hispanic consumer needs, boosting consideration and market share in their PMAs.
- Dealer Engagement & Support: Collaborate with Strategists to understand local market needs, provide guidance, and ensure effective implementation of Hispanic marketing initiatives at the dealership level.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Establish and monitor KPIs to track the effectiveness of Ford Strategists. Analyze data, generate actionable insights, and continuously optimize strategies to maximize ROI and market share growth within the Hispanic market. You will oversee the vision of the Ford dashboard analytics, partnering with the analytics team to create new reports for actionable insights and enhance dashboard development.
- Budget Management: Oversee and manage the budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Market Research & Insights: Stay current on demographic shifts, cultural nuances, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes within the Hispanic market to inform strategic decisions and ensure relevant and impactful marketing efforts.
- Training & Education: Collaborate with Ford University to implement successful multicultural marketing strategies. Additionally, work with the content development team to deliver engaging learning labs and "Hispanic Marketing 101" summits for Ford dealers, especially those not currently working with a Strategist. This includes creating informative newsletters, utilizing data-driven storytelling, and showcasing videos of best practices for effectively engaging Hispanic customers.
- Compliance & Brand Standards: Ensure all marketing activities adhere to Ford's brand guidelines, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with a significant focus on multicultural marketing, specifically the Hispanic consumer segment.
- 8+ years in a leadership or program management role, with demonstrated success managing large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Proven experience working with or for automotive dealerships is highly preferred.
- Market Expertise: Deep understanding of Hispanic culture, consumer behaviors, media consumption habits, and market trends.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership, dealers, and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, analytics tools and project management software.
Travel: Ability to travel frequently nationwide (20-30%).
