How you will contribute:
The Administrator is a qualified leader appointed by the Board of Directors (Governing Body) to oversee, direct, and coordinate all Agency operations in compliance with state and federal regulations. This role carries ultimate responsibility for the administration, management, and quality of hospice services.
Success in this role requires compassion, strong operational and clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead teams through sensitive and deeply meaningful experiences.
How you will make an impact:
- Hire, develop, and support staff
- Ensure regulatory compliance and staff education
- Oversee reporting, documentation, budgeting, and program evaluations
- Coordinate IDG, QAPI, and Governing Body meetings
- Maintain a safe, well‑run office environment
- Support growth strategy, staffing needs, and community outreach
- Review performance metrics for CMS and internal standards
- Manage volunteers and oversee onboarding
- Ensure accurate public materials and quality patient experience
The Experience and Skills You’ll Bring
- Associate’s degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or related field
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in hospice, home health, or healthcare
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems
- Regulatory‑compliant work history and background requirements
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Certified Hospice and Palliative Nursing
- Experience in HomeCare HomeBase
