Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products, ensuring proper workholding and material handling.
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments to optimize production.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine or program issues to minimize downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) for quality inspection.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and various materials.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot common issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
• Experience operating and programming advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
