The Apartment Property Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of apartment properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining high occupancy rates. This position involves managing a large team and coordinating various activities including lease administration, maintenance, and budgeting to deliver exceptional property management services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain positive tenant relations and address concerns promptly
- Manage lease agreements and renewals efficiently
- Coordinate maintenance requests and oversee repair schedules
- Collect rent and monitor accounts receivable
- Oversee budgeting and financial reporting for the property
- Supervise a team of 4 or more staff members
- Manage vendor contracts and performance
- Utilize marketing channels such as online listings, local advertisements, referral programs, and property management platforms to attract tenants
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in property management
- Proficiency with property management software
- Strong lease administration skills
- Financial management expertise
- Demonstrated team leadership abilities
- Experience managing vendor relationships
