Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, final, and incoming material inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and drawings.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) to verify product dimensions and characteristics.
• Document inspection results accurately, identifying and reporting non-conformances or deviations from quality standards.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain and calibrate quality inspection equipment and tools according to established schedules and procedures.
• Support the maintenance of quality records, data collection, and generation of quality reports.
• Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance role.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, including GD&T.
• Familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools such as SPC, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or similar continuous improvement training.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab).
• Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology equipment.
• Familiarity with specific industry quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949).
