St. Robert Catholic School Ada, MichiganBeginning with the 20262027 School YearSt. Robert Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our team beginning with the 20262027 school year.At St. Robert, our mission is to provide a premier Catholic STREAM-based education where students are immersed daily in their faith and empowered to become the individuals God created them to be.
Our teachers help students develop curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a deeper appreciation for the wonder of Gods creation.The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator who brings strong instructional skills, a STREAM mindset, and the ability to engage middle school students through inquiry-based science learning.Required Qualifications Current State of Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Science endorsement Practicing Catholic willing to support and uphold the teachings and mission of the Catholic ChurchPreferred Qualifications Catechist Certification (or willingness to obtain) Virtus Protecting Gods Children Certification (or willingness to complete)Position ResponsibilitiesThe teacher in this position will: Plan, organize, and implement engaging instruction aligned with Diocesan Science standards for middle school students Use hands-on, inquiry-based STREAM learning to help students explore scientific concepts and develop critical thinking skills Facilitate labs, experiments, and project-based learning experiences that promote curiosity and discovery Collaborate with colleagues to meet the academic and developmental needs of middle school learners Maintain a strong classroom management plan and teaching philosophy aligned with the mission and expectations of St. Robert Catholic SchoolApplication InformationInterested candidates should send a letter of interest and resume electronically to: Liz Peters, PrincipalSt. Robert Catholic [email protected]Recommended Jobs
