Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, skilled trades, and administrative roles.
• Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution on the shop floor.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations specific to manufacturing environments.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll inputs, leave management, and benefits enrollment for all employees.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans for manufacturing teams.
• Coordinate and facilitate training programs, with a focus on safety, compliance, and skill development for production personnel.
• Maintain accurate HR records and data within the HRIS, generating reports and analytics as required.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO) and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Proficiency with HRIS and talent acquisition strategies, including recruitment for production roles.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and their HR implications.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP) highly desirable.

Bonus Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish)
• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma principles or continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with HRIS optimization, particularly for time & attendance or shift scheduling in a manufacturing setting
• Direct involvement in manufacturing safety programs or OSHA compliance initiatives
