Warum DuPont? | Karriere bei DuPont: Manufacturing Technology Leader We are looking to hire a Manufacturing Technology Leader to join our Liveo™ manufacturing technology organization at our (Liveo™ Hemlock manufacturing site location. The MT Leader provides technical expertise/leadership for the Liveo™ LOB (line of business) driving manufacturing technology (MT) improvement and productivity programs and supporting manufacturing operations to maintain production performance and overall process capability. We are looking for someone who has a substantial background in process technology, manufacturing process optimization and improvement, performing complex and varied responsibilities within the technology function including project prioritization to achieve operations and business goals. Also, provides technical guidance and development of team including early career professionals. Responsibilities include: Act as an advisor providing key resources to site/unit operations leadership team and may become actively involved leading team, as required, to meet EHS/PSM, production schedules, productivity goals and growth plans. Has knowledge of best practices and how manufacturing technology (MT) organization integrates with key stakeholders throughout integrated operations, product management, R&D and contract manufacturers; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the business/processes in the market. Guides and prioritizes the process technology and continuous improvement activities of MT individual contributors accountable for similar responsibilities and performing moderately diverse Works in collaboration with operations; contribute to and executes business, functional, process development/or product strategies. Impact of work reflects directly on the overall team for quality of process execution and responsiveness to business needs. Operates with latitude for action and decision-making; uses overall MT managing processes and systems as well as judgment to make decisions that affect own area of responsibility within the business/function. Solves technical or operational problems (with or without vague/unstructured aspects); takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment. Develops, integrates, and executes the manufacturing technology execution plans to support the business and integrated operations/ supply chain strategy in support of the business COTs and site KPIs/metrics Establishes manufacturing technology performance targets and evaluates actual performance in support of business and site KPIs/Metrics Works closely with site minor capital leader/Business Engineering Leader to develop 5-year capital plans and prioritize annual capital projects and resources. Manages the Liveo ™ Business Technology Implementation Plans (BTIP) and leads monthly BTIP Execution Reviews Manages bi-annual assessment of MT capability and gap assessments with IS MT Organization Manages MT talent and succession plans and attends quarterly talent management reviews and represents Liveo™ MT on global IS MT leadership calls. Attend Bi-weekly Staffing Roundtable and manage staffing and onboarding of new hires including interns/coops on global IS MT leadership call Works closely (annually) with site leader, IOC, and Global MT leader in development of 5-year SWP (Strategic Workforce plans) Owns the integrity of data in applicable systems (including PSM, MES, BTIP, etc). Represents Liveo™ Accomplishments – Global IS MT Townhall (bi-annual) Works closely with IOC and MTEs to update Manufacturing Capacity Manuals (HIMS site) Responsible for onboarding and management of interns. Leads the CARE WEST Regional Team for DuPont. Leads the site Process Safety Management program, including OSHA PSM and DuPont HHP/LHO oversight. Serves as site lead for the Process Safety Committee. Presents on status of Process Safety Management and MT programs in monthly townhalls. Serves as site representative for all NPCF and scale up work, including allocation of resources to ensure program success. Leads the site Machine Safety Program. Develops site Sustainability Plan for OpEx. Role has direct reports in Hemlock, MI and Tuscon, AZ. Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology is required 10+ years of Engineering Management, Process Safety Risk Management or R&D/Process Development background is required for this role Direct line management highly preferred Willing to travel up to 15% domestically to other site locations, as required Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training/certification/ statistical process control (SPC) experience preferred Key competencies needed to be successful within this role: team-building, development of others, strong communication skills, project management skills, and business acumen
