Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our client base by acquiring new contracts for lawn maintenance, landscape, turf fertilization, and snow plowing services. Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and prospecting year-round.
- Achieve sales targets by acquiring new commercial and industrial contracts for lawn maintenance and snow removal services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers and owners to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to support ongoing business growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with management and team members to support company goals and address client needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the property maintenance or related industry.
- Basic knowledge of lawn care and snow removal services.
- Strong decision-making and closing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet business demands.
- Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Pontiac, MI 48342 prior to starting work.
Compensation
$45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year (base salary plus commission)
