Salary Range: $52,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code to determine machining operations.
• Monitor machine operations, adjusting feeds and speeds as needed to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Load and unload parts, change tools, and perform basic machine maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, or part quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges for quality inspection.
• Experience with G-code and M-code programming and editing.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and various material properties.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for program creation or modification.
• Proficiency with CMMs or other advanced metrology equipment.
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
