The tractor-trailer driver will safely and efficiently drive a tanker, straight-truck, box truck, or other appropriate vehicle to transport non-hazardous and hazardous (with proper licensing) liquid waste water to various customer locations in a timely and professional manner. Job Description: * Operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) according to DOT regulations * Utilize assigned route while obeying all traffic laws and safety regulations * Maneuver CMV into loading and unloading areas * Assist with loading and unloading of products, using specialized equipment when warranted, and returns all equipment to designated area * Maintain signed invoices, bills of lading, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation to dispatch when work orders are complete * Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and reports maintenance malfunctions to the fleet manager and dispatch * Other duties as assigned Work Environment: * Overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays * Rotating On-Call * Most CDL drivers have daily routes and are home nightly * Located in Byron Center, MI * Full-time position Requirements: * Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A with a clean driving record * Tanker and hazmat endorsements required * Must pass background checks and pre-employment drug screen, as required by law * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers * Ability to handle prolonged periods of sitting in a cab * Ability to remain focused in busy environments * Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds #GFLTalent We thank you for your interest.
