\n\nWhat’s a typical day as Maintenance Mechanic? You’ll be:\n\n

\n\t
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment including liquid pumps, centrifugal machines, gears, air motors, valves, actuators, conveyors, and building utilities such as HVAC, boilers, and air compressors\n\t
• Conducting inspections for signs of malfunction, troubleshooting issues, and performing scheduled preventative maintenance\n\t
• Responding to emergency repairs for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic machinery\n\t
• Fabricating equipment from ideas or drawings using welding (Tig, Mig, Stick), cutting, plasma tools, and grinders\n\t
• Assisting the Maintenance Team Lead and collaborating with colleagues to fulfill work orders\n\t
• Complying with facility safety regulations and operating in chemical hazardous areas using appropriate PPE\n\t
• Keeping work areas clean and organized, and maintaining accurate service schedules and records\n

\n\nThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:\n\n

• Have proven experience in facility maintenance (required)\n\t
• Bring at least 1 year of experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fabrication (preferred)\n\t
• Are comfortable working with hand and power tools (required)\n\t
• Are willing to learn and perform pipefitting and welding tasks (required)\n\t
• Hold a basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, metal fabrication, and electrical systems (preferred)\n\t
• Are available to work first shift for training (6:00am to 2:30pm), then transition to second shift (2:00pm to 10:30pm) once trained\n\t
• Are able to work weekends and overtime as needed (required)\n
