Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees on relevant safety and environmental topics.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Perform regular EHS inspections and audits of manufacturing facilities and equipment.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, including proper storage, disposal, and record-keeping.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS management systems.
• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning and drills.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs (e.g., LOTO, HazCom, machine guarding, waste management).
• Experience conducting EHS audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Certification as an ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 internal auditor.
• Proficiency with EHS management information systems (EMIS) or data analytics tools.
• HAZWOPER certification or experience with industrial emergency response.
• Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) to support diverse workforces.
