FreeStar Financial Credit Union is looking for an entry level Branch Service Representative in St. Clair Shores. If you have demonstrate professionalism and excel at customer service, this member service position may be the role for you!

Job Location: St. Clair Shores Branch

Days: Monday-Friday, Occasional Saturdays

Benefits:

120 hours PTO in the 1st year

Salary: $18 per hour

Purpose:

The primary purpose of a Branch Service Representative is to assist FreeStar Financial Credit Union in fulfilling our mission to positively impact the lives of our members, team members, and community through making meaningful connections and progressive financial solutions.

This is accomplished by serving as the first point of contact for members, creating a welcoming, professional, and memorable first impression while delivering superior service aligned with the credit union's core values. This role supports member relationships through account servicing, transactional support, problem resolution, and product education, while contributing to branch operations and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact, creating a highly personalized, welcoming, and solution-oriented experience for every member.

Operate as a concierge and advisor , helping members confidently use technology while ensuring complex needs receive hands-on support.

Support the transformation from a traditional teller line to a technology-enabled service model .

Build relationships that drive product penetration, digital engagement, and long-term member loyalty.

Work Schedule

Standard work schedule will be a 5-day work week Monday – Friday with recurring Saturday rotations. Scheduling is subject to change at leadership's discretion based on the operational needs of the credit union.

NOTE: This is not a remote work position. The candidate chosen for this role will be on-site at the location indicated on the job posting.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of one year of experience in the financial industry.

Must have knowledge of various federal regulations and the responsibilities relating to each act of the following:

• Right to Financial Privacy Act
• Regulation E (EFTS)
• Regulation CC (Funds Availability)
• Regulation ZZ (Truth in Lending)
• Truth in Savings Act
• Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
