A skilled mechanic is needed to perform repairs and maintenance on exhaust and HVAC systems, as well as conduct engine tune-ups in an automotive repair shop environment. This role requires certification, personal tools, and expertise in diagnostic testing and system troubleshooting to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform exhaust system repair and maintenance
- Conduct HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting
- Execute engine tune-ups and diagnostic testing
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues through system troubleshooting
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability
- Adhere to safety compliance standards during all tasks
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in automotive/mechanical repair
- Technical vocational training in mechanics
- Mechanic Certification and HVAC Technician Certification
- Proficient in exhaust system repair and HVAC system maintenance
- Skilled in engine tune-up and mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to handle standard hand tools effectively
- Commitment to safety compliance and best practices
- Strong communication and time management skills
