Service Technician - Mechanical
Location: Canton Township, MI
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift (approx. 6:00am–3:00pm, flexible) | No weekends
Compensation: $25–$45/hour (based on experience)
Overtime: Available
Total Earnings Potential: $100k–$125k+ with OT
Bonus: Annual profit-share opportunity About the Opportunity
Our client is a growing industrial service and distribution organization specializing in pumps, blowers, valves, and rotating equipment . Due to continued growth, they are actively hiring multiple Service Technicians to support increasing service demand.
This is a hands-on, on-site role in a brand-new, clean, heated shop , offering long-term stability, strong leadership, and paid technical training for technicians who want to build a career—not just punch a clock. What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform precision overhauls of pumps, valves, blowers, agitators, and other rotating equipment (shop and customer sites).
- Install and service industrial and wastewater equipment .
- Install and replace mechanical seals, bearings, couplings, V-belts, relief valves , and related components.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
- Support customer service needs related to equipment operation and repairs.
- Maintain service tools and perform preventative maintenance.
- Follow company policies and OSHA safety standards .
- Work on a wide variety of mechanical systems — “anything that spins.”
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Industrial service technician
- Pump or rotating equipment technician
- Automotive or diesel mechanic
- Millwright / maintenance mechanic
- Construction or mechanical trades
- Wind turbine technician
- Machinist or mechanically inclined technician
- Day shift only with flexible start time.
- No weekends .
- Occasional emergency service work (paid).
