Salary Range: $43,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Accurately document and log all incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to specifications and carrier requirements.
• Load and unload trucks and other vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain an organized and clean shipping and receiving area.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Communicate discrepancies or damages to supervisors and relevant departments.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a shipping and receiving or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and communication.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in using a barcode scanner and warehouse management system (WMS)
• Experience with fork-lift operation and certification
• Basic understanding of inventory control principles
• Familiarity with shipping carrier software (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip)
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips and bills of lading
