ISG Technician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Technical Support Technician to join our dynamic team. As an ISG Technician, you will leverage your knowledge and skills in a collaborative environment, participating in cross-training and mentoring less experienced technicians. You will work in various areas of the Emissions Lab and Milford Proving Grounds, troubleshooting test cell systems and equipment, calibrating instrumentation, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair test cell facility items, including drive systems, fuel systems, dynamometers, pumps, heaters, heat exchangers, and more.
- Collect motor vibration data, replace filters, and install and calibrate cell transducers.
- Fabricate and wire specialty equipment, such as fluid conditioning systems and specialty brackets, using existing and purchased parts.
- Install, calibrate, set up, and troubleshoot exhaust gas emission measurement equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance work, particularly on AVL equipment.
- High school diploma and 3-5+ years of electrical and/or mechanical hands-on maintenance experience.
- Expertise in electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, instrumentation, and calibration.
- Broad troubleshooting skills, welding, fabrication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in emissions testing, equipment maintenance, or equipment calibration/metrology.
- Comfortable working on 480VAC and 1000VDC systems and understanding risk reduction techniques.
- Ability to read and understand documents, follow procedures, and adhere to regulations.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Horiba and AVL equipment is a plus.
- Associates Degree is a nice-to-have.

Work EnvironmentThe work is conducted at the Milford Proving Ground Emissions Lab, a clean, lab-oriented, and climate-controlled space. The maintenance team supports 24/7 test operations, with various shifts available. The rotation includes every third weekend, with opportunities for additional hours once fully trained. The team consists of approximately six members, with projects varying from individual tasks to collaborative efforts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
