Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC vertical milling machines independently
• Create and edit programs using G-code and Mastercam
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure part quality and accuracy
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure production efficiency

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC milling machines, specifically vertical mills
• Proficiency in G-code programming
• Experienced with Mastercam software for part programming
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including P.C knowledge and current technology software familiarity

Education:

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred
