Salary Range: $47,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products against specifications.
• Conduct various quality tests and measurements using calibrated equipment such as CMMs, calipers, and micrometers.
• Document inspection results, non-conformances, and quality data accurately in logs and reports.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, initiating corrective action requests as needed.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection and test equipment.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for quality deviations.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and company procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
• Experience with CMM operation and/or programming
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab) for data analysis
• Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 or relevant industry standard
• Advanced interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
