Job Overview
Mixed Staffing & Recruiting is currently seeking dependable and motivated individuals for a temporary Traffic Control Equipment Installer assignment in the Grand Rapids area. This position will assist with the installation of traffic control and safety equipment at the GRR Airport rental car facility.
This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, construction support, and working outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Install traffic control equipment including:
- Speed bumps
- Gate arm operators
- Pipe bollards
- Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist with loading, unloading, and positioning materials
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and site guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
- Previous construction, installation, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials as needed
- Comfortable working outdoors and on active job sites
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance required
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
