Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all finishing department operations, ensuring production schedules and targets are met.
• Monitor and enforce quality control standards for all finished products and processes.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of finishing technicians and operators.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols and a clean, organized working environment.
• Identify and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and quality discrepancies.
• Optimize finishing processes for efficiency, waste reduction, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, quality assurance) to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finishing operations.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of finishing processes, quality standards, and inspection techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean manufacturing).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
• Experience with automated finishing equipment or robotics
• Formal training in advanced quality control techniques (e.g., Statistical Process Control, FMEA)
