Salary Range: $64,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization, inventory, and maintenance of all tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and equipment.
• Supervise and train tool room personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and skill development.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and standards within the tool room.
• Manage the procurement of new tools and replacement parts, including vendor selection and negotiation.
• Schedule and coordinate tool maintenance, repair, and calibration to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, usage, and repair history.
• Collaborate with engineering and production departments to ensure tool availability and support manufacturing needs.
• Monitor and control tool room operational costs and identify areas for improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in tool room operations and management.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and control of tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with quality control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems.
