The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit candidates for diverse manufacturing roles (e.g., production, skilled trades, engineering).
• Partner with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate technical skills, safety aptitude, and cultural fit for plant environments.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and sourcing to offer negotiation and pre-employment checks.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified talent for current and future manufacturing needs.
• Utilize and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for efficient candidate management and reporting.
• Advise hiring managers on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and best practices in manufacturing recruitment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for diverse roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment (e.g., engineering, production, skilled trades, operations).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and typical organizational structures.
• Demonstrated ability to source and attract passive candidates for specialized and technical manufacturing positions.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern recruitment technologies.
• Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills, with an emphasis on evaluating technical competencies and cultural fit.

Bonus Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades or high-volume production roles
• Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
