The Project Manager/Estimator Position

The Project Manager/Estimator position plays a critical role between the field and office staff at D’Angelo Brothers. The Project Manager provides oversight of projects from initial collaboration with the Owner on bids, to coordinating scheduling, communication and documentation between the field and office. Additionally, the Project Manager will require being involved with the estimating process for projects, understanding the specifications and linking costs to field production.

The position requires exceptional problem-solving abilities and flexibility to move smoothly between tasks and projects. Success depends on strong teamwork, with each member contributing to delivering high-quality, on-time results while supporting customer service and sales initiatives on the job site. While technical expertise is important, the true drivers of success are effective communication, precise schedule management, and the ability to see and understand the bigger picture.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Project Manager/Estimator Position

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is required
• 5-7 years of project management experience in construction is preferred, preferably with exposure to utilities
• 100% commitment to safety, trust and integrity
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with an ability to coordinate crews, subcontractors, and engineers effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Compensation, Benefits, and Structure for the Project Manager/Estimator Position

The Project Manager spends approximately 50% of their time in the office and 50% of their time in the field to oversee project execution and ensure jobsite success. The office is located in Farmington Hills, MI.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary based on skills and experience. The Company also offers a generous benefits package including 100% employer paid medical insurance (for spouse and family) and a 401K retirement plan with 4% matching employer contributions. A Company vehicle allowance or company truck is offered based on skills and experience.
