Key Responsibilities

• Perform precise setup, changeovers, and adjustments of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Install, align, and calibrate tooling, dies, and fixtures according to production specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues during setup and production.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure product conformance.
• Execute routine preventative maintenance tasks on machinery to minimize downtime.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate machine configuration.
• Maintain accurate records of setup parameters, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in machine setup and operation within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and hand tools.
• Understanding of quality control principles and adherence to safety protocols.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Welding or fabrication experience.
