Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies.
• Negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize value.
• Manage and cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers, evaluating performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure material availability and quality standards are met.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply for critical manufacturing operations.
• Oversee inventory levels to optimize working capital and minimize obsolescence while supporting production needs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory control, and quality assurance standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Experience with advanced analytics tools for spend analysis and forecasting.
• Fluency in a second language relevant to international supplier base.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent professional certification.
