Business Analyst

About The Role We are looking for a strong analyst who can support our expanding business.- Provide ad-hoc statistical analysis of large data sets.
- Provide statistical support to ongoing projects.
- Identify recurring operational processes and automate in SQL.
- Create and/or generate existing reporting for supervisors.
- Develop new performance tracking tools for production staff.
- Build/maintain/enhance Power BI dashboard reporting.
- Extract and analyze data to support business initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in statistics, actuarial science, or related quantitative field.
- Preferred 2 or more years of experience in an analytical/quantitative role.
- Experience with statistical techniques and modeling preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company business techniques, files, and other documents.
- Ability to work under strenuous deadlines and to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective oral/written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate sound business judgment and the ability to work successfully with all levels of professionals, backgrounds, and perspectives.
- Required to sit for extended periods of time.
- Possession of equivalent and relevant combinations of experience, education, and training may be substituted at management discretion.
- Experience in writing and running efficient SQL queries.
- Understanding of dashboard creation tools such as Power BI.
