Are you the friendly, organized face patients can count on? Join our dedicated team as a Front Desk Receptionist, where you'll play a key role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in our medical office.

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Sterling Heights, MI looking to add a Front Desk Receptionist to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to serve as the first point of contact for patients and to manage the flow of administrative tasks that support efficient patient care. • Competitive hourly rate ranging between $18-$20/hr. depending on experience

What your day will look like:

• Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Check in/out patients and verify insurance and personal information
• Answer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriately
• Schedule and confirm appointments, referrals, and follow-ups
• Collect co-pays and process patient billing transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area
• Support the medical staff by coordinating communication and documentation

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems is a plus
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
