A well-supported Emergency Medicine department in Bay City, MI is seeking a Locum EM Physician to provide onsite coverage during a recruitment gap. This role offers stable shift variety, strong team support, and full ED resources within a modern practice environment.

💰 Rate Structure

• Hourly: $320/hr (Rate cap)

• Travel:

  • No flights

  • Lodging must follow policy

  • Tax-exempt lodging only

🧪 Clinical Environment

• 👥 Patients per day: ~80 total

  • Approx. 1.8 patients/hour per physician

• 🤝 Support Staff:

  • 12-hour APP coverage

  • Full ED nursing & tech support

  • Full radiology & lab onsite

• 💻 EMR: Cerner

• Adult & pediatric emergency care

• Newborn resuscitation

• Suturing, I&D

• Orthopedic (non-displaced fractures)

• Psychiatric (uncomplicated)

• Vent management

• Acute BP/volume management

• Central & arterial lines

• EKG interpretation

• Arthrocentesis

• Lumbar puncture

• Paracentesis

• Full EM procedural skill set

📝 Submission Requirements — MUST be included at name clear

• 🎓 Board Certified EM OR IM/FM with 2+ years recent ED experience — Required

• 🩺 Michigan License — Required (No IMLC)

• 🧪 Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS — Required

• 📍 Provider must be local (No exceptions)

• 🛡️ Clean background for quick credentialing — Required

• 💵 Rate submitted with name clear — Required
